DIRECTIONS
Cut the material large enough to glue around the outside of your lid. You don’t need to have clean cutting here, as it will be glued to the inside of the lid. I actually had my daughter help me cut mine.
Hot glue around the edge and just press the material down. Make sure to pull it tight as you glue, so there aren’t any wrinkles or folds left when you flip the lid over.
Trace around the lid insert with a permanent marker on to a piece of felt. Cut out the circle, and hot glue it to the back on the lid insert, covering the glued edges of the first fabric.
Place hot glue along the inside of the rim of the lid and press the lid insert, wth the material side down, into the rim of the lid. Once dry, attach your decor to the front of the ornament. I found my jeweled stickers in the scrapbook section of Walmart for just $2.97.
Tap a small hole into the top of the lid. I just used a small nail and hammer to make mine. You just need a place to attach your ornament hook.
And you are done! These could be a fun craft for an adult get together!!
