One of the biggest things in your home that gets neglected when you decorate for the holidays are the windows. There are lots of fun things you can do to make your windows festive for the holidays!
I like to keep it simple around my home, and I have one thing I do every year to decorate my windows with ease – candy cane window decor!

NO-COST WAY TO DECORATE FOR CHRISTMAS

Candy Canes
Ribbon
Curtain Rod
Cut the ribbons to lengths of anywhere from 12″ – 18″. If you want a uniform look, cut them all the same length. Otherwise, cut them all at different lengths.
Tie the ribbon around your curtain rod. You can make them into bows at the top or just tie a knot. Spread them evenly. I hide my knots with lighted garland that’s draped over the curtain rod.
Once the ribbons are attached, and spread out, you’re ready to put the candy canes on. Simple hook the candy canes onto the dangling ribbon loops, and you have instant decor!
Keep it traditional with the colors, or make it fun with all kinds of different colored candy canes!
