HOW TO GLUE POM POMS TO STYROFOAM & CREATE POM POM CHRISTMAS TREES
There is literally no wrong way to decorate a pom pom Christmas tree! I made three different kinds and could have easily made three more kinds!
Start your project by hot gluing the star to the top of the styrofoam cone. The cones already have a flat top, so that makes it pretty easy to do!
From there, you simply hot glue the pom poms on in any way you want. You can spray paint your cone first, if you want a different color as the base of your tree, or you can leave it the way it is.
The tree I completely covered in pom poms had some strategy to it. I started with all the largest pom poms and worked my way down to the mini pom pom balls. This way I made sure I could fill in the holes. Be prepared, though, it takes a LOT of pom poms to do this! Like three to four packages!
Once you’ve finished gluing on your pom poms, you can display your happy little trees however you wish! I like grouping mine together and putting them on window sills to add even more sunshine to my Christmas decor! If you make some, we’d love to see! Share your projects with us!
