Broccoli is one of those vegetables that I can eat in so many different ways – and I love them all! One of my favorite ways to make it, especially in the summer, is baked or grilled. This Easy Baked Broccoli recipe is delicious, and leaves the broccoli at just the right texture – not too soft, and not too crunchy – for the perfect side dish.
I’m all about easy side dishes. They are the way to make a perfectly wonderful meal. But of course, it has to be easy to make. I don’t want to stand in the kitchen spending more time making the sides than I do the main course. Not this mama!
It is pretty simple to make this broccoli side dish. The secret is to use Kickin’ Chicken Seasoning, which is a spice blend from Weber. It’s got a bit of spice, and a ton of flavor to kick the broccoli up a notch.
The only real prep to making this =dish is cutting up the broccoli, and the rest is done in just a couple of minutes. It’s one of the best broccoli recipes for kids, that your family will love!!
If you find that Kickn’ Chicken is a bit too spicy, you can swap it out for something more mild, such as Mrs. Dash. You can even just use salt and pepper. We really love spice in our foods, so we like to ramp it up a bit when we can, while still keeping it kid-friendly.
One of our favorite meals is this baked broccoli and oven baked brisket. It is just Oh. So. Good.
