Each year on Easter, we always have an abundance of boiled eggs! There are many things you can do with boiled eggs, but in our family, we love to transform them into deviled eggs. But, this year, you can make Easter that much more special by making Easter Deviled Eggs that are dyed all the pretty colors of the rainbow!
A fun way to bring some Easter to your table this year is by making these easy Easter deviled eggs. If you can boil an egg, you can make these. I promise that they are easy to make.
HOW TO MAKE EASTER DEVILED EGGS
There is no cooking required to make these. After all, you will just use the eggs your kids dyed the day before!
First, peel the number of eggs you want. Then, rinse them under cold water to remove any small shell fragments.
Next, cut the eggs in half, horizontally. Then, use a spoon and gently remove the yolks and put them into a bowl. Set that side.
Determine how many colors you want for your eggs. Then, add a few drops of food color to one cup of water into small bowls. Mix until the food coloring is evenly dispersed. (If you have many to do, you can use two or three cups of water, but will also need to add more colored drops in order to have the right coloring).
Next, place the egg whites into the dyed water, so they’re fully submerged. Leave the eggs submerged in the water for about 15 minutes. The longer they stay, the brighter the color becomes.
Then you will want to make the filling for your eggs. You can use your own recipe, or use the one we created to make our World’s Best Deviled eggs. Use a spoon and scoop the mixture into the eggs. If you want to give your eggs a special touch, use a piping bag and a tip to squeeze the mix into your eggs.
That’s it! That’s all it takes to make adorable colored deviled eggs for Easter!
