Snow globes are such a beautiful part of winter and Christmas. This year we decided to make our own, using mason jars, and we loved them!
It was difficult not to keep making them! You will love how simple these are, and you will be surprised at how affordable they are as well.

SUPPLIES:
Mason jar
4″ trees, mini ceramic figurines, etc (we found ours at Walmart)
Salt
Hot glue gun
DIRECTIONS:
Making these snow globes is simple. Place your figures onto the lid of your jar and secure them with hot glue. We found that wide mouth mason jars worked best, but the regular size works too.
While the glue dries, pour regular table salt into your mason jar. Only pour in as much that will fit without covering your decor inside the jar. If you want to have deeper snow, without covering up your decor, glue a wooden lock to the inside of the lid, and then glue your decor to the wooden block. The salt will cover the wooden block so it wont be seen, but will allow your, “snow” to be deeper.
Screw your lid on tight, an set your jar or jars somewhere to be enjoyed by all. I am in love with how ours turned out, and I think these would make great gifts too! We would love to see what you made! Share yours creations with us!
