Sausage Crumble Tortellini Soup
- Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients
- 1 package of Jimmy Dean Sausage Crumbles (we use turkey to make it healthier)
- 2 small white onion, thinly sliced
- 2 clove of garlic, minced
- 2 can (14.5 oz) reduced sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup of water
- 3 cups torn fresh spinach
- 1 1/2 cups refrigerated (or thawed frozen) cheese tortellini
- Grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Combine sausage, onion and garlic in a large sauce pan.
- Cook until the onion is tender.
- Add broth and water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer (uncovered) for 10 minutes. Return to a boil and add the spinach and tortellini.
- Cook for 7 – 10 minutes, or until tortellini is tender.
- Pour into bowls and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
