Making your own wreath doesn’t have to be difficult or time-consuming! Fourth of July is just around the corner, and it’s fun to celebrate with cute Americana decor. I made this cute Easy Firecracker Wreath to celebrate Independence Day, and it took me three minutes!!
My initial thought was to purchase garland and make it myself. But, I found this pre-made red, white and blue wreath for less than it would cost for me to make. This firecracker wreath cost me around $7 to make – and now I can use it year after year!
Supplies:
Patriotic Round Tinsel Wreath
Firecracker Yard Stake Sign
Hot Glue Gun
To start, remove the stake from the sign. It should just pop off very easily (as you can see above).
Apply a large dollop of glue to the very top of your firecracker, and the very bottom of your firecracker, and then quickly press it against the front of your tinsel wreath. Let it sit for about a minute, and it should then be completely dry! Now that your Easy Firecracker Wreath is finished, you can hang it on a wreath hanger, or on a hook on your wall, and display it for the Fourth of July!
Now when your friends compliment your cute decor, you can tell them you made it! Not only is this a great DIY, but it’s also a great way to save money on decor. This entire wreath only cost about $7.00 to make, which is about $9.00 cheaper than the pre-made wreaths at Walmart!
