Make your own adorable fuzzy bunny with this Cotton Ball Bunny craft! It’s so easy for little hands to make, and they will love it! This is a great craft for spring or for Easter! Instead of making this on paper, you could also make this on a paper plate. If you do, you’ll have to glue on ears, since you won’t have room to draw them.
The prep for this Cotton Ball Bunny craft takes 2 minutes, and that’s my favorite part about it! It’s hard enough to wrangle the kids for a craft, much less to try and occupy them while you set up for a long and drawn-out craft. This craft is also frugal and probably uses items you already have in your house.
Supplies:
Cotton balls
Cardstock, white construction paper, or a paper plate.
Black permanent marker
Googly eyes
Pink pom-pom
School glue
Start by drawing a silhouette of a bunny on the piece of paper using the permanent marker. Use glue to cover the face of the bunny (exclude the ears). Press cotton balls onto the glue until the entire face is covered. Glue the googly eyes to the top of the bunny face. Then glue the pink pom-pom on for the bunny nose.
Alternatively, you don’t have to glue if you don’t want to. Just put the cotton balls without gluing, and press on the googly eyes and pom pom without gluing as well. This is easiest with very young children, so you don’t have to worry about glue getting anywhere. Then you can re-make over an over and change things up if you want as well.
