DIY EASTER MARSHMALLOW POPS
These little pops take little time to make – around 20 minutes from start to finish!
SUPPLIES
Cake Pop Sticks (you can also use paper straws if you wish)
One bag of large marshmallows
Melting candies (in the color of your choice)
Easter sprinkles
Wax paper
INSTRUCTIONS
Place one-half cup of each color of melting chocolates you want to use into individual bowls. Microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring well in-between, until melted.
Stick the cake pop sticks into the end of the marshmallows and then dip them into the melted chocolate. Add the sprinkles to the top and then place them face down on the wax paper to set. (If you place them right side up, the chocolate will run down the side of the marshmallow).
Once they are set, you can enjoy! Store them in an air-tight container in your pantry, or anywhere they will not get warm.
We used orange, lime green, and light pink — perfect Easter colors. You can mix it up and make them bright and cheery, or pastel and springy! Whatever you feel suits your Easter get-together best.
My little ones couldn’t get enough of these while I was making them, and I’m sure that kids of any age would love these! I really liked the stick factor, because then the marshmallow sticky didn’t get all over their fingers. Enjoy making these for your family, and Happy Easter!
