Buttery Beer Bread Recipe


  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 12 oz beer
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
  3. Once mixed, add in the beer, and mix well (the dough will be sticky.)
  4. Place the dough in a greased, 9×5 bread pan
  5. Pour the melted butter over the top of the dough
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
  7. Allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes before removing from the pan.
  8. Best served warm, but delicious when cooled too.
