Sour Cream and Onion Chicken


  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • 1 packet of Lipton dry onion soup mix
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • Salt & pepper


  1. Heat a deep dish skillet on medium/high heat.
  2. Place your chicken in the skillet and add salt and pepper.
  3. Add the cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream.
  4. Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the top, and stir to combine.
  5. Add in the water, and stir to combine.
  6. Turn the heat down to medium, and cover the pan with a lid for 10-15 minutes, stirring often and turning the chicken as needed.
  7. Remove the pan from the heat when the chicken is fully cooked.
  8. Serve over pasta or rice for a more hearty meal.
