Homemade Apple Jam


  1. Peel and finely chop apples.
  2. In a large sauce pan place apples.
  3. Add 1 cup of sugar and apple cider.
  4. Over a medium heat let fruit cook for about 10-15 minutes.
  5. Once it comes to a boil add one package of fruit pectin.
  6. Stir fruit so it does not stick.
  7. Continue cooking over medium heat until sauce becomes thick.
  8. Ladle into mason jars.
  9. Put on lids and put in the fridge.
  10. Let cool for 1-2 hours.


If you do not like chunks, use a potato masher, immersion blender or food processor for about 1 minute.
