Easy Blueberry Compote


  • 12 oz fresh blueberries
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon honey


  1. Combine all the ingredients in a sauce pan over the stove, and set the heat to medium high.
  2. Bring the mixture to a soft boil, and then reduce the heat to a simmer.
  3. Allow the mixture to thicken, stirring often, for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Once the mixture has thickened to a runny, pie-filling consistency, it’s finished.
  5. Top your favorite dessert with this easy blueberry compote, or eat it as is.
  6. Allow to cool for two minutes before serving.
