Caramel Krispie Treats

TREATS (need these amounts TWICE) 1/4 cup margarine 4 cups crispy rice cereal 4 cups mini marshmallows CARAMEL 14 oz caramels (unwrapped) 1/4 cup margarine 14 oz sweetened condensed milk

KRISPIE LAYER

  • Melt margarine and marshmallows (watch so that they do not scorch)
  • Stir in crispy rice cereal
  • Press into a buttered (or greased) 9×13 pan

CARAMEL LAYER

  • Place caramels, margarine, and milk into a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Heat until caramels are melted.
  • Blend well.
  • Pour onto the layer of Krispie treats.
  • Refrigerate for 30 – 40 minutes

 

KRISPIE LAYER

  • Melt margarine and marshmallows (watch so that they do not scorch)
  • Stir in crispy rice cereal
  • Press into a buttered (or greased) 9×13 pan
  • Refrigerate for another 30 min
  • Cut and enjoy!!
