January is well underway. While many made new year’s resolutions, several of you have probably already given up on trying to keep them. I actually never make resolutions because I know myself. Each year I tried to make one, but I quit early on.
Rather than make a resolution to change something in my life, I have decided that each year will be the year of a new word or phrase. I’ve decided that 2017’s phrase will be:
This year I have plans to improve my site and even launch a new one. It is going to mean a lot of hard work. It is going to be tough. I mean, really tough. It will mean long hours. I am sure I’ll have frustration and tears along the way. The thing is, it might be tough, but you know what? I’m tough too!
I’ve survived a horrible marriage in my early 20s. I have survived going through bankruptcy. I’ve survived a miscarriage with my husband. Those things could have held me back, but they didn’t. I persevered and came out stronger on the other side.
This year, I challenge you to come up with your own phrase. Not a resolution. I want you to find your saying. What will you strive for in 2017? Find the saying that inspires you.
Sometimes, we need a visual to help keep us on track. I found these awesome tees from Cents of Style that can do just that. Best of all, they are on sale right now too! You can find all sorts of fun styles, colors, and sayings.
